Silver Linings II is a large fluid abstract painting done on a cradled wood panel (it is very heavy!). This is one of the few paintings I made in 2020 before the pandemic turned the world upside-down.

Silver Linings II features a light white background of pretty pastel colours, offset by a streak of bright, bold colours including black, red and teal. This piece was created on top of a painting I had previously made which added texture and depth to the painting. The bold colors are the star of the show, but the subtle background colors hold their own by framing in the center section and creating plenty of visual interest. Silver Linings II is a mixed media piece that incorporates acrylic paints, spray paint and oil pastels.

Edges are finished with black paint. There is a strong wire attached to the back so it is ready to hang on your wall! This painting has been signed by the artist on the front and back.
