It has been a looooong couple of years, hasn't it? I don't think anyone was prepared for what 2020 brought us - or how long it lasted! All I can say is that I am very thankful that COVID restrictions finally appear to be easing and we can all slowly get back to life as (the new) "normal".
After a two-year break, I am finally back in my studio creating again - and it feels amazing.
This pause has given me some time to reflect on my journey as an artist over the past 15 years, and to assess the direction I want my career to go moving forward. I have a ton of new projects in the works for 2022 that I am so excited to share with you guys!! This is going to be a bit of a long post so grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) and get comfy ;-)
First, my website has been given a much needed refreshment - complete with my new logo! I have used the same logo since 2006 so it was definitely time for an update!
My website now links to my Society 6 Shop where I sell Canvas Prints and Paper Prints of my paintings, as well as a huge selection of merchandise featuring my art - including phone cases, throw pillows, coasters and more!
I will be slowly updating my social media pages over the coming weeks as well... You can connect with me on Instagram or Facebook. I also have a new YouTube channel which I'll talk about in a minute.
I have a new series of paintings in the works! I am currently working on series that explores unusual ways to recycle old canvases - The Recycling Project. I plan to release this series by Fall 2022.
